Skimmer replaced in San Diego county

Recently a customer in San Diego county called us out to replace the skimmer on his pond. When the pond was built next to a small palm tree,no problems were expected.  Soon the small palm tree, grew into a large palm tree. The tree pushed and bent the skimmer to a point of not working.  We drained the pond removed the origional skimmer, and installed an Aquascape Signiture 8.0 skimmer in its place. It took a little liner adjustment, but overall it went in pretty much as expected. We then finished with a pond clean out and installing LED under water lighting. It only took one day, and customer was happy. Pondman doing just what he is trained to do!skimmer swap 1skimmer swap 2

Biofalls leak in San Marcos

This week we had a customer from San Marcos call,It seems they had just purchased the home with an existing pond, and waterfall. After only a week they became aware of wet ground around the pond and the automatic water fill valve seemed to run constantly. We went out and found that the pond was definatly leaking. It turned out that the bolts that connected the EPDM liner to the Biofalls had corroded and  was allowing water to run out and under the liner. To make matters worse, roots were beginning to grow in the gap.

sometimes the pond leak is easy to find.
The bolts are corroded, and the roots are growing.water is being wasted.

We removed all the origional bolts , then  the roots and cleaned the area. We replaced the bolts with stainless steel bolts, wahers, nuts, and siliconed the area. This worked perfectly. This pond will work great for a long long time.
