I guess it really is a matter of perspective. I received a phone call from a pond owner of five years. This lady was happy with her pond and needed an after storm clean up.  The job turned out to be pretty cut and dry with nothing out of the ordinary. A few days later she called again and left a message that she was un-happy.  Uh-o .  I went over to her house to find out what the problem was. we stood in front of the pond together, when she said look at it, its awful. I didn’t see anything wrong ( it looked like before) After a few moments she let me know what her problem was. She told that for the last few years ,she had been  happy with her pond, and weekly bragging to her friends was the norm. However, after seeing the examples of our other customer’s ponds.She told me ” mine looks like a pearl necklace” I cant stand it!  Can you please build me a pond , the your way…..   Yes Mam We Can .

One large pizza with sausage and cooked tomatoes. After hanging up I was checking my E- mails and found a solicitation for me to become a Certified Pond Installer.That was the claim from the pond supplies manufacturer. Well I am a happy Certified Aquascape Contractor, and have been for some time. To obtain my certification I had to be a working pond installer, undertake more training, submit examples, which were then critiqued and other things including ongoing education and more. My point here is , being certified isn’t and shouldn’t be easy.

Well I wasn’t actually interested in this certification,but I had some time until my pizza arrived, so why not check it out. I went to the web site and started there training. After the first paragraph I quit reading. Since I was doing this just for fun I decided to go strait to the test.

The crux of this is that from ordering my pizza to the time it arrived , I had become a Certified Pond Installer, and the pizza was great.
